Description
Solenopsis is a large genus, containing some of the species referred to as Fire Ants. This colony are fire ants, ferocious, small, swarming and very fun to keep. They are NOT for beginners, as they are good at escaping. That being said, if you know what you are doing, you have the potential to have a fire nation on your home wall or shelf. They grow very fast if fed protein, and even make due with exoskeleton shells from your other colonies if you want to put them somewhere, as they are excellent scavengers in addition to being brutal hunters.
Their power lays in their ability to swarm their pray, stinging it thousands of time. If you have a wasp-sting allergy, you should be wary when keeping them. (As should you with any stinging ant species).
Size: This colony has 2 Queens meaning they have the potential to grow to a very large size. Reaching the thousands easely.

Temperature: Room temperature but benefit from local heatspots
Hibernation: No
Polymorphic: No
Recommended nests: Testtube, Acrylic, 3D printed, Dirt
This colony is from: Peru, Amazonas
The exact species is most likely Solenopsis geminata
