Description
Camponotus vagus is a wonderful species, sparking stark contrast when compared to some of Europe's other Camponotus species. Their matte black finish and smaller build makes them, in my opinion, very striking. They are found within deciduous forests all across central Europe and make themselves home within dead old logs and alike. This being said, they also do well in artificial setups and grow rather fast.
